Neen....selection is definitely a tool used to establish a standard or an
ideal within a loft deemed as perfection by the individual fancier. This
standard or ideal is in the eye of the individual beholder. Selection can be
based on many criteria such as color, size, pattern expression,
conformation, temperament. height of flight, kiting, breeding etc but most
importantly flying ability or length of flight. However, some have suggested
that only the flying ability should be measured and nothing else....thus the
selection for flying is the only tool to be considered for the Tippler breed
and therefore a standard cannot be established for this reason. What do you
say to that argument I would be interested in reading or anyone else willing
to un-lurk their keyboard :-) Luka
