Tippler Subject Category:

I have tagged a picture of a cock that meets most of what I want in a I
Tippler. I never bred this bird, a man named Ross Morden did and
unfortunately Ross is no longer with us, but his memory lives on in his
stock.

What I like about this type of bird other than their flying quality's are
its overall general appearance; size being slightly on the big side, long
cast body, legs well let down, large and well proportioned wing with great
feathering, with nice wide primary's that have no gaps for greater forward
propulsion, as well as nice wide secondary's to give great lift and
cruising ability's. A tail with 12 feathers that is nice and tight and
slightly longer than its wing set when looked upon at rest. Heads should be
nice and sound with a moderately high forehead, a short to medium beak
length. A neck that is full and tapering into a well laid back shoulder. A
chest when viewed from the front to be nice and wide but not pronounced
forward, and a body that completes itself into a nice wedge shape ending
with a nice tight set of vent bones.
