what i will do with the 4 birds i got back is when the birds made it back i
was there with the droppers under them and food ready for them 2 eat ,i
always do this when i miss a kit in the dark, young or old more young birds
trying to dark train them and when u do get them dark trained r they spoilt
birds . i have missed loads of y/bird kits every year but i am up at 1st
light all the time to get them i do not want the birds landing on the loft
with no droppers or me not there to get them that is a must u r still
schooling them, can't leave the droppers out, cats everywhere. the y/birds
i miss go on to break records and win nationals so u tell me do u think
they r spoilt, and i do know that harry Shannon misses y/ bird kits all the
time like me so is harry flying spoilt birds i don't think they are spoilt
,it was 1 off them things that happens with getting caught out with the
weather and the birds would not have done that if they could have seen were
they were going u could not see 40 feet in front of u . and don't forget my
birds were in the pins when the fog rolled in god only knows where they
ended up they done well to make it back at all . i would not call them
spoilt i had a kit out tonight for two hours, put them out at 4.30 pm dark
at 5.10pm i dropped them at 6.30pm and there was two of the hens that were
lost in the fog in the kit i will be training away at them and flying them .
the hen that made it back today at 9.30am flew in two flys last year 19hrs
40Min's and 1st national long day fly 19hrs 35mins i also missed her as a
y/one trying to dark train her. it is up to the man training the kit if he
thinks they r spoilt or not, he should know his birds and i know my birds
,some breed's might not want to go back in to dark after something like that
but my birds r fine and as i said had two hens out to night and flew them 1
hour in dark that was away in the fog only thier 2nd time out this year and
they flew great . if anything i should have got the weather report 1st
before leting them out . hope this help someone

all the best
