Very interesting question, I can see Luka also showed us a good example; we
will all say that these two things we can't separate, to be successful, is a
must to have a good birds and at the same time be a good trainer. These are
the key priority in this sport, yes you are right, they are a lots of
fanciers that acquired birds from well-known tippler fanciers, and couldn't
achieved the same result, in some cases they wasn't even near by with
results

But, I think there's more to it, I have seen some fanciers that acquired
birds from known tippler fanciers, and were successful, even much more then
previous known fancier, I think here we have to do with a good trainer and
disciplined, (I know the previous owner will say they was my birds that made
him successful) if you are not successful (we will blame the trainer as it
is his fault)

The very important key is, the environment of that country, are they flying
to the same advantageous environment? We all know that most of the fruits,
comes from warm sunny places or known as tropical places, and they can't
grow for example in my country, I think we should check and take in
consideration all circumstances of that flyer and compare with our
circumstances before we acquired the birds, and ask ourselves can they fly
in my environment always take in consideration your weather, which may be
very hot, or too cold. and don't expect everything from birds.
