I also hope you are wrong but let's be realistic.

The EU has the first chance to achieve something in the BOP menace - if we
get together. Now I am not just talking about tippler flyers but also about
homer fliers, chicken farm owners, game keepers and fish stock pond
managers.

There were some victories already won on the local CZ platform. The game
keepers are allowed to shoot a BOP at sight when it attacks the
pheasant/partridge farm. I am not saying these guys are trigger happy, but
when it comes to stopping the damage done to their investment, they do their
duty.

There are some victories to be won here in near future. The fish stock pond
owners complained about flocks of cormorants cleaning their ponds of stocked
yearlings actually "over night". These "complaining" owners were recommended
by the local EPA to cover their ponds (at their cost) with nets. Well, it is
kinda hard to cover 5 football fields of water with a net, not mentioning
the costs, but the EPA showed the IQ power we are going to fight against in
the court together :-)

As you correctly pointed out, we live in different environments and under
different legal provisions so it is hard sometimes for me to understand...

I said before, my top priority now is to get the ITF going. In the mean time
I ask every one here to document their losses and think about putting a
price on a top-notch competition tippler. Because these we fly and these we
lose...

Also, in the mean time, I will contact all local (CZ) clubs/organizations
that are hit by the BOP's and ask them to cooperate in our joint effort that
may take years. It is going to be a long walk, Paul, but at the end, no
matter the outcome, we can say: "At least we tried".
