I have seen cumulets years ago i went to see old Roy Beaty you will probably
remember him he had some but could not get them to fly any time at all it
was years later we realised what he had was the show type when you see them
the beak follows the head line down but the flying Cumulet has a small
forehead and is smaller than the show birds a similar thing happened to Dave
Sutherland when we were just very young men must be close to 40 years ago
Dave was showing me a pair of tipplers he had bought from some guy in
Darlington told me they had been bred from birds with lots of wins behind
them he had seen the cups and diplomas for 1st 2nd 3rd places nice birds but
a bit on the large side he bred 2 young birds from them they never flew
higher than the house top where they would sit for hours on end we later
found out the wins were all in the show cage lol we live and learn mate
