Hi Frank a lot of what we are seeing here on FT concerning the perigrine
problem was put to the NTU by Mick Tift in proposals at the AGMs only a very
few people voted for these proposals not one of the council thought it was a
good idea or spoke up for it the proposals were rejected by a massive
majority with the general concensus being if you have a problem sort it out
for yourselves i seconded some of Micks proposals and contacted other pigeon
clubs and unions and was told it had all been tried before i was wasting my
time Mick and myself thought otherwise until told the same thing at the AGM
by our own members lists of NTU ring numbers found at perigrine nest sites
were being published in the NTU newsletter almost 20 years ago but still
nothing
