Hey Davey funny you should say that...four years back I lost a youngster for
a day or so. Got up early in the morning and started scanning the sky.
Nothing doing for a couple of hours so I got myself a tea and sat in the
yard watching....every tippler man has done this I can guarantee :-) I have
plenty of wild pigeons settling south of me and then flying towards the
north to the farmers fields to feed. Sure enough you would see groups of
pigeons heading north one after another. Well in the distance I could see 3
birds heading straight north and over my loft but one bird just looked a bit
different in the wing beat. Just as they came over the loft I started
whistling and one bird banked left and circled couple of times and bang on
the loft. It was my lost youngster. A tippler is a standard onto its own no
matter the ignorance that prevails. Bloody shame the ignorance exists in a
place you thought it never would.
